Lock in Your New Smile for Life
Your braces or aligners may be off — but the journey to a lasting smile isn’t over yet. At odento dental, we provide custom-made retainers to keep your teeth from shifting back to their old positions. Think of them as the finishing touch to your orthodontic treatment.

What Are Retainers & Why Are They Important?
Retainers are devices you wear after completing orthodontic treatment (braces or Invisalign). Their job is to “retain” your teeth in their new position while the surrounding bone and tissues stabilize.
Without retainers, teeth often relapse, undoing months of hard work.
How Long Do I Need to Wear a Retainer?
First 3–6 months: Full-time wear (for removable types)
After 6 months: Night-time wear for several years
Long-term: Some patients wear them indefinitely at night

How to Care for Your Retainer
Rinse daily with lukewarm water (not hot!)
Brush gently with a soft toothbrush
Store in a retainer case when not in use
Avoid chewing gum or hard foods with fixed retainers
How Long Does Invisalign Take?
Average cases: 6–12 months
Complex corrections: Up to 18 months
Faster results with good compliance (daily wear)
